Built by a father & son team
Hunderwear is a consolidated hockey undergarment that replaces every underlayer your player wears โ in one washable, wearable piece. Built by players, for the families who deal with the aftermath.
The origin story
Kenny has played hockey since he was 8. His son Finn started at 6. One day in the car, Kenny's partner Jelli told Finn his dad was working on a new kind of hockey underwear. Without missing a beat, Finn said โ "you mean Hunderwear?"
The name stuck. So did the mission. Finn, now 10, works the brand side โ he's the one asking for lightning bolts and making sure it's actually cool enough for kids to want to wear. Kenny handles product development, getting prototypes into the hands of real players and making it work on the ice.
Compression top, compression bottoms, skate socks, hockey socks, and jock shorts โ all integrated into one piece. Put it on once. Take it off once. Wash it once.
Elbow pads notoriously slip down during play. Hunderwear includes a built-in elbow pad hook that keeps them exactly where you put them โ every shift, every period.
Traditional jock shorts rely on a waistband and velcro straps to hold everything in place. Hunderwear eliminates all of it. No strap digging into your waist, no garter belt, no bulk โ just a compression garment that holds your cup securely in place and moves with you.
Full zipper access means bathroom breaks between periods don't require removing all of your gear.
We get it โ an all-in-one garment sounds like it might run hot. So we built two versions. For players who run hot: an ultra-thin, highly breathable version built for maximum airflow. For outdoor rinks, cold environments, or players who value moisture absorption over everything: a more absorbent version that keeps sweat away from your skin and pads. Same garment, different build โ because not every player runs the same.
